A new era for recoveriescorp

It is with a heavy heart that we received the news of David Mond’s intention to retire last month.

A well-respected and much-loved leader, David is adored by an ever-growing recoveriescorp family for his vision and the boundless opportunity that his dream has provided for so many over the past 26 years.

David’s Entrepreneurial style combined with his strong passion for natural justice has allowed us to build and maintain a culture which sets us apart from others in the industry.

Together with business partner and close friend, Leon Sholl, David has remained resolute at the helm of recoveriescorp, growing from five employees to more than 600 to become an award winning, innovative and leading organisation.

With the stage set for the dawn of the new age of recoveriescorp, it seems a fitting time to hand over to the next generation of leaders in the company. At the forefront of this next generation is Nicholas Harrak, who has been appointed as recoveriescorp’s new CEO, effective 1 November.

The final test of a leader is that he leaves behind him in other men, the conviction and the will to carry on. —Walter Lippman

Nick is a natural choice to succeed David as the new leader of recoveriescorp. With two decades of recoveries industry experience, culminating in his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer, Nick possesses a strong results-based philosophy and a hunger for innovation which has him well placed to continue to assert receoveriescorp’s market leading position throughout Australasia.  “To have someone who exemplifies what we all should aspire to be, take over my role, is fantastic,” said David of Nick’s appointment.
